THE WAY OF WISDOM, Sandra Lugo

 
Some decisions require wisdom and don't really need a prophetic word. When we think about decisions and how we make decisions, some of what we call disasters could have been avoided with some good old fashion wisdom. Wisdom is the combination of knowledge and understanding.
 
Too often I have found (and maybe you can relate) that people (including me) don't think things through thoroughly.  And had we thought things through, we would have made better decisions.  Unfortunately, in many of our charismatic circles, people are running with prophetic words and not applying wisdom.
 
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding. ~Proverbs.4:7
 
Sometimes we don't need to look for a prophetic word but what we need to seek out is wisdom.

If I give someone advice and godly counsel-wisdom that is not a prophetic word, yet that doesn't make the counsel or wisdom less valuable than prophecy.  If you were going to be hit by a car and I yell "Move".  This is a word of direction based on wisdom.  If you stay where you are you are going to be hit and probably die.  While that is Though it is not a prophetic word -- it is a needful word.

I can tell you honestly that there have been times that I have made a shipwreck of my life because I didn't apply wisdom to the prophetic words I received.  If you'll be honest, I'm sure you can testify to that as well.
 
It's my heart's desire as I believe that it is also the Lord's desire that the words and wisdom that I share propel you and lead you towards prophetic destiny.
